Children’s Occupational Therapy Developmental & Sensory Processing Assessments

We provide tailored assessments to identify and meet your child’s developmental needs. You can choose from three different packages.

Package One

A full assessment of all aspects of your child’s developmental and sensory processing needs (if necessary). Outcomes will be immediately fed back to you and your child’s school at a meeting or at a time to better suit you, followed by provision of a thorough written report with recommendations.

Should you choose this package, a complimentary telephone call, up to three months post assessment will be included.

This package of support can be used to support and inform the EHCP process.

Package One Abridged

This assessment can be reduced in cost if a summary email of the findings is requested instead of a full report.

Package Two

This package has five shorter options, please choose one only from the following:

Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Outcomes & Goal Setting

For children we already know, we are sometimes asked to provide Outcomes which will form part of EHCP provision.

This option allows us to visit your child/you to ensure their voice is captured in the advice we offer.

EHCP Outcomes in addition to any assessment

If we are asked to provide EHCP Outcomes at the time of our assessment, then an additional hour is charged.

EHCP statutory visits

We support many children who have been awarded an EHCP. This provision requires careful monitoring which, if included in the EHCP, becomes a statutory role. There could be three or six visits per year depending on the recommendations in the Outcomes.

Attendance at an EHCP Annual Review or Team Around the Child (TAC) meeting Charged after the meeting and pro rata

To include advance reading of all paperwork in preparation, as well as attendance at the meeting itself. This option is relevant for those children who have an EHCP or where specialist support at a meeting is required.
